Founded in 1986 by Guy Delcourt (former editor-in-chief of the comic magazine Pilote), Groupe Delcourt is the world’s first independent francophone comic strip publishing group.

Groupe Delcourt publishes more than 650 new launches each year in the youth, graphic novel, classic series, comics, and manga categories. The Company has accumulated a deep library of bestsellers, including: Les Légendaires, Lanfeust de Troy, Les Blagues de Toto, The Walking Dead, Zelda, Les P’tits Diables, Les Carnets de Cerise, and more.

With a catalogue of 9,500 titles, annual sales of ~€100 million euros and 115 employees based in Paris and Toulon, Groupe Delcourt is the second largest publisher of francophone comics in the world.

Investment

Florac invested in Groupe Delcourt in April 2018. Founder Guy Delcourt holds control and the management of his Group.

Florac's investment in Groupe Delcourt empowers the Company with significant resources to accelerate its development projects.

Key Achievements

After the 2005 takeover of Tonkam, a leading manga publisher, and the 2011 acquisition of Editions Soleil, Groupe Delcourt is well-positioned for future organic developments (Literature) and external growth initiatives.
