Founded in 2002 by Franck Papazian, joined a few years later by Kal Ladha, MediaSchool is a French private higher education leader and continuous training provider for the communication, digital and media fields. As of today, the Group welcomes more than 5,500 students in its schools in France and abroad. The Group includes almost 40 schools that offer trainings in the fields of communication (ECS), journalism (IEJ), digital (#SUPDEWEB), audiovisual production (SUPDEPROD), luxury (Paris School of Luxury), sports (Paris School of Sports), content production (Paris School of Content) and environmental and social transition (Green Management School). MediaSchool also offers dedicated trainings for the BTS exams and executive education programs for senior executives in the communication and media fields.
Florac invested in MediaSchool in May 2020, alongside Golda Darty and 123IM as co-investors. Franck Papazian, the founder and President of the Group, remains CEO and majority shareholder as part of the transaction.
Initially dedicated to the communication and journalism fields, the ECS and IEJ being its two main schools, MediaSchool gradually diversified on new verticals, such as luxury and digital. The Group has also launched Paris School of Sports in 2019, with Teddy Riner as partner, dedicated to sport-related careers, and Green Management School in 2020, with Audrey Pulvar, specialised in the environmental and social transition. MediaSchool also significantly developed its alternance programs with the acquisition of group IPF in 2016.
