Resulting from the spin-off of Grandi Stazioni Spa from Ferrovie dello Stato, GS Retail has been granted the exclusive long-term concession-providing rights to the commercial leasing and advertising spaces of the major Italian train stations, which serve 800 million visitors annually.
Florac and Maurizio Borletti (BGSH) partnered to acquire GS Retail alongside Antin Infrastructure Partners and ICAMAP Advisory.
The venture aims to revitalize the Travel Retail experience within the major Italian train stations.
The management team has been strengthened and the company is currently carrying out an ambitious refurbishment of the leasing spaces.
